Gonorrhea test is designed to identify Neisseria gonorrhoeae, the bacterium that causes gonorrhea (also spelled gonorrhoea in UK English). In the early stages, gonorrhea is often asymptomatic or shows only mild symptoms, which makes reliable testing essential.

Symptoms in women and men

In women, gonorrhea may cause mild abdominal pain, unusual discharge, burning sensation when urinating, and in severe cases, infertility.
In men, the infection usually manifests as frequent urination and burning during urination. Early diagnosis is crucial for initiating treatment and preventing complications.

Fast and easy to use

The test is simple to perform and delivers results within 1–2 minutes. The package contains all components needed for a single-use test for both women and men. If the result is positive, medical consultation is recommended. Instructions are provided in English, Finnish and Swedish.
