Protecting your personal data is a top priority for Testers. We collect and use your personal data strictly in accordance with the legal restrictions set out in the Finnish Data Protection Act and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). In order to provide you with products and services and to fulfil our related obligations, we must use your personal data as described below.
- What data do we store?
You provide us with information about yourself or your company, in connection with a purchase, when you request an offer for our products, when subscribing to our newsletter, by following us on social media or by contacting us by email or phone. We may combine personal data collected electronically with personal data collected in connection with personal contacts and events.
Information we store about You: (Note that not all of the information mentioned below may be saved):
- Personal data and contact information: name, billing and delivery address, email address, telephone number
- Information about the product/service: information about the products or services that you have purchased or have been interested in buying.
- History: Previous purchases, customer refunds, payment history
- Identification data: e.g. IP address, location information, language, web browser settings, time zone, operating system, device platform and display settings

This information is processed partly because it is necessary to fulfill the agreement with you, and partly because it is necessary to communicate effectively with you in our legitimate interest and to provide you with a top-notch service.
We may also analyse the purchases of different customer groups in order to develop our product offers and pursue our legitimate interest in developing our products and services
We use the following types of cookies:

In order to be able to meet your customer relationship obligations, we may, if necessary, share your personal data with third parties such as carriers, suppliers, IT solution providers, marketing service providers, accounting service providers, payment service providers. authorised dealers and authorised service companies. In these situations, we comply with the legislation in force and with appropriate policies to ensure your privacy and information security.
In other cases, we will not share your information with third parties, except in situations required by law, or if we have your express consent.
- Location of your data
We store your personal data on servers located safely in the EU/EEA. Since we take data protection seriously, we do not transfer your personal data outside the EU/EEA, and all our processors are subject to strict confidentiality regarding your personal data. However, in certain cases it may be necessary to transfer your personal data outside the EU/EEA and, if so, we will ensure that the data transfer has been carried out in accordance with the required security measures, for example in accordance with standard data protection clauses adopted by the European Commission or transfers under the EU-US Privacy Shield.
- Storage and deletion of data
We store stored data for as long as is appropriate to meet our obligations or for as long as other legislation, as specifically required by the Accounting Act.
For example, we will delete the information related to your profile “On Your Own Pages” when the account is deleted, while information about the account contact person and billing materials will be stored for five years so that we can process future requests and comply with applicable accounting laws. We will delete or anonymise the information related to the products you purchase after five years after purchasing the product, unless you have logged into your own website and selected to receive your purchase history from there You can request access to and deletion of your personal data through our websites or by contacting us as described below.
- Your rights
You are entitled to receive information about your personal data that we store or otherwise process upon request. You are also entitled to have your inaccurate personal data corrected, and in certain circumstances you have the right to restrict our right to process your data or to ask us to delete your personal data. You may withdraw your consent regarding the processing of your personal data (as described above) at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of the processing carried out on the basis of consent prior to its withdrawal.
