Developed by the Danish Institute of Technology to do it yourself, the indoor bacterial and fungal test is a reliable way to detect surface bacteria and their number indoors. This TSA (Tryptic Soy Agar) test complements the V8 home test because it identifies most of the Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria on the surfaces. You can also use the test to control the level of cleaning.
Radial fungi are soil bacteria that, like mold fungi, grow mycelium and spores. Ray fungi are commonly found in soil and give soil a characteristic smell that smells like its earth cellar. As a rule, radial fungi grow only in damp conditions and are considered a moisture damage indicator.
