WaterWorks water test strips provide an easy and quick way to measure the amount of total solubilities (TDS) in water. Too high a concentration can cause turbidity, metallic taste, limescale deposits and reduce the effectiveness of water purifiers such as chlorine. The pH balance of the water can also suffer without you noticing.
What does TDS stand for?
Total Dissolved Solids covers all small particles that are dissolved in water – such as salts, minerals, metals and organic compounds. Even if the water looks clear, its content may differ from that of clean drinking water.
